Rain

Dearest Sister,

Today I walked to the carriage, to be showered on by quite the cloud burst! I ran along, but other than the rain I haven't been up to doing much. I have been deep in reading, and can't seem to read quick enough for my own satisfaction. Miss Ashley and I will be venturing into town tonight to hopefully discover some festivities. Hope you are doing well.

good byes for now

Dear Anne,

My holiday here at home is coming to a close. Of course you are not here to spend this last evening with me. Last night I enjoyed the company of great friends. The parlor games we played were very entertaining. It is a relaxing time at home I must say. Whatever is the ill feeling you have? You have left me quite puzzled. I made a trip to the dress shop and I'm very happy with the outcome of my new garments. You did get the chance to see them but I can't wait to wear them. We must continue writing. As I write Sir Timothy is over my shoulder reading every word I write so I must not write anything I want to be kept a secret.

your loving sister,
Eliza
