Dear Eliza,

A weird feeling has been brewing in the pit of my stomach since the last letter we've received-most unexpected indeed! Perhaps not so untimely, but not preferred to some of my other recent ones. Perhaps some outings and the party arriving soon will raise our spirits, for I'm sure you have felt similar after reading the contents of the letter. Of course, our next endeavor is the realtions arriving tomorrow.

Christmas cheer

Dear Anne,

It is so good to hear from you! The Christmas season is here and I have been busy with decorations and such. I have spent a lovely evening at the theater with our dear friends, Rose, Grace, Philip, Ruth, Hannah, and Isaiah, among a few others. I wish that you could of joined our day trip! It has been to long since I have been to a theater, this one in particular. The was much talk of the wedding of which you know. I will share more in person. Overall the evening brightened my spirits!

P.s. Jacob will be arriving tomorrow after he takes care of some business. We will be dining away then returning to home. All will go according to plan, unless the carriage wheel breaks again.

Dearest Sister,

Forgive me for a long awaited letter. I have become busy in preparations and found a few books far too interesting for my own good. Robert will be arriving tomorrow and we will be taking a carriage ride to go sightseeing. He has been staying in Bath for a bit, and I have been eager to see him back home. And you must tell me about Mr. Jacob. I'm happy to see you arriving safe soon from you're latest trip. We shall have such amusements over the holidays, I'm sure. Hopefully a blizzard does not prevent any of our ambitions.

I am writing to you, eager to hear what the happenings of our beloved hometown are. I will be returning in time for Christmas. I can not wait until the balls and lavish parties begin! I have been receiving some very strange letters as of late. The content and writer of the letter can not be exposed, for I must not trust that this letter should remain sealed after it leaves my hands. To see you smiling face and hear your laughter shall be wonderful!
